Intercollegiate Computer Game Showcase

Saturday, June 10, 2017
California State University, Fullerton
11:00am: Setup
   1:00pm-4:30pm: Game Demos and Judging
4:30pm-6:00pm: Poster Session, Recruiting, and Reception

Now in its the sixth year, the IEEE GameSIG Intercollegiate Computer Game Showcase is providing southland university and high school game developers the chance to present their best student-developed video games for judging by an elite panel of video game professionals.

Come out in support of your favorite colleges as student development teams go head-to-head for school pride, bragging rights, and the GameSIG Cup.  Finalists will demonstrate their games for a growing number of students, alumni, and sponsors representing our internationally renowned video game industry.

This year's showcase will be held at CSU Fullerton. Following the Showcase, enjoy a reception featuring networking and game demonstrations by the student developers.  Put on your game face and come to cheer your favorite school, watch demos and play games.

The public is invited to attend the annual intercollegiate competition among the major universities of Orange County and the surrounding area.

  • 1:00PM - 4:30PM  The best developers in the universe universities will compete for honors on the Big Screens before our panel of judges who are local Game Industry leaders. You will be thrilled when their names are released. This panel is a lively bunch, and it may seem more like American Idol than an academic event. Student game developers will have ten minutes to shock and awe the judges.

  • 4:00PM - 6:00PM  We will have a casual game demo session, networking, and reception. The audience will have the opportunity to get some hands-on time with the games created by the finalists and semi-finalists, enjoy refreshments, and network with industry professionals.

Warning: Seating is limited.

Student Game Developers are invited to submit their game and  can get game submission information at our Showcase website:
