Unity Programming Workshop

The second GameSIG Showcase Workshop for the 2017 event was held on Saturday, February 25 at Santa Ana College.

This half-day event taught key concepts and techniques for using Unity to develop games. In addition, mentors were available to advise teams and help them prepare their Submission Forms for the Best Engineered Game award.

Best Engineered Game is a new category of the competition in 2017. This category is being sponsored by the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE). INCOSE is the world’s authority on Systems Engineering, an interdisciplinary approach and means to enable the realization of successful systems. It focuses on defining customer needs and required functionality early in the development cycle, documenting requirements, then proceeding with design synthesis and system validation while considering the complete problem.
